A chilly December evening at Lynn Valley, and I'm finally getting around to my blog.

I'm relieved to see that I can share my photos among friends and family on Flickr without sending them out to the world in general. When I get my family blog going I'll be able to send family photos to a select group.

I also like the fact that you can set up a map and locate photos at the places they were taken. I want to be able to show my cousins the photos I took on my trip to Britain last summer. Locating them on maps would be really useful because I took pictures of our ancestors' homes, churches and work places.

To all my Munn cousins--you know who you are

I'm setting up this blog as part of a learning challenge at work, but I thought it might also be a useful family tool. First, I'll use it to report on progress on the Munn/Munden history I plan to start in the new year, maybe post mysterious pictures?

I'm hoping that I'll hear from you with questions and comments, but especially with family stories you'd like to share.
